About the UNIGIS Institution:
UNIGIS Krakow was launched in 2004 by the Department of Geographical Information Systems, Cartography and Remote Sensing, Institute of Geography and Spatial Management, of the Jagiellonian University. The staff of the department has been carrying out research in various fields of Geographic Information Science and Technology since the early 1990s. The particular field of expertise comprises various applications of GI technologies in land use and land cover change studies.
