About the programme:

In the USC online M.S. in Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) Programme, students tailor their coursework and thesis project to position themselves for long-term professional growth in increasingly diverse occupations and disciplines. Students may choose from four tracks: Spatial Data Acquisition and Integration; Spatial Data Analysis and Visualization; Spatial Application Development; and Spatial Thinking.USC GIST master’s students design and produce a thesis, which is an original, independent, professional work on a compelling topic of their choice. Students work closely with a faculty advisor who serves as the thesis committee chair and two committee members from among the GIST faculty to produce an abstract and the thesis.
